A You-focused approach
Here’s what you can expect when we work together:
1. Get to know you as a whole person.
At our initial meetings, I may recommend educational resources so you feel more confident and well-informed. It could be filling in gaps around investing basics or more complex needs like understanding how pension drawdown or inheritance tax works. Not everyone wants to learn, I find. However, if you do, I enjoy sharing what would help.
2. Define your values.
I rely on trusty, evidence-based questionnaires to get to the heart of your values and vision for your life. We’ll draw those important connections between your desires and your money while getting ready to put your financial plan into action.
3. Examine your money psychology.
Because numbers only tell a fraction of the story, we’ll dive into your beliefs and attitudes about money to find out where there might be psychological and emotional barriers holding you back (with absolutely zero judgements).
This step is optional, and not every client wants or needs it. It also happens gradually over time in an organic process.
4. Plan your next steps.
With a clear sense of who you are and what your goals are to guide us, we’ll build a customised, easy-to-follow financial plan that creates a straight path to your dream future.
