top ethical financial adviser

Roughly 11 years ago, I made the decision to follow my life path. I said goodbye to a secure job in Canary Wharf with a generous pension and a wonderful team of people.

In money workshops, the question of the life path versus the money path frequently arises.

#1: The Money Path: “One day, when I sort this out, I’ll get to do what I want.”

#2: The Life Path: “Do what you love, and the more you follow it, you will have your needs met with and without money.”

When I started this financial planning practice, I asked every client that wanted to invest if they wanted to invest ethically or sustainably. There was no judgement, no matter how they chose. Eventually, I attracted more clients who wanted to invest sustainably and it became my niche specialism.

Some well-meaning adviser colleagues discouraged me from doing this because it was not a "scalable business," pointing out the extra work and the difficulty in finding clients who wanted to invest sustainably. But once you follow your life path, it's really hard to choose otherwise.

Thank you, Good With Money for having me on your list of top 9 ethical financial advisers and for having me on your list for a few years now. I'm so excited and grateful to be a part of it. The support means a lot!
